About the event
Blaise Wright (they/them) is an acespec enby professional writer/teacher who has over 10 years of industry and academic experience in creative writing. They have a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Queensland (St. Lucia), specialising in
English, Creative Writing and Film (as an unofficial third major).
Blaise's particular expertise is in the establishment of long-lasting communities.
They are responsible for the successful establishment of two major programs at the Queensland Writers Centre, Writing Fridays and Youth Writing, and have comprehensive experience facilitating workshops.
Presently, they are the lead facilitator of Authors & Adventure, an independent workshop series dedicated to providing an affirming space for LGBTQIA+ and neurodiverse creative writers to explore their craft. They also teach English as a private tutor with Alchemy Tuition.
